The HXRA consists of Hacton, Hylands and St. Andrews Wards and incorporates Elm Park Residents' Association.  We are a non party political association which was formed in 1933 to assist local residents who needed our help, and our members come from all walks of life and beliefs.

We believe in local affairs being run by local people, not national parties.  The HXRA supports Resident Association Councillors of which, at this time in the HXRA area, we have six.  We believe in democracy, freedom, independent representation on our local council, and the right to live our lives in peace and dignity.
